How To Add Your Pronouns To Your Instagram Profile
Social Media Marketing

Instagram has added a feature where users can add their preferred pronouns to their profiles. You will now be able to add up to four pronouns to your Instagram profile which may appear next to your Instagram username.Instagram announced the update during a tweet on May 11. The pronouns feature is now available in “a few countries” and can eventually become worldwide.
Adding pronouns is completely optional, but if you do choose to add them, users will be able to add up to four gender identity pronounces next to their name above their bio. The pronouns will appear in light grey text. The change is going to be a boon to those that have already got packed Instagram bios–which are limited to 150 characters. Here’s how to add Instagram’s new gender identity pronouns to your profile,
Tap the profile tab in the button bar at the bottom of the screen, and tap on the Edit Profile option.

There you will see a “Pronouns” field, which you need to click on.
Tap “Pronouns” and add up to four pronouns you identify with. That’s all there is to it! You should be ready to see your pronouns in gray next to your display name.
Though Instagram has not yet confirmed the precise regions where the feature has been made available. When the feature is out there in your region, you’ll be ready to see a replacement ‘Pronoun’ tab. The new feature will allow users to settle on to feature pronouns straight to their profiles rather than having to form them a part of their bios. Other social media platforms have also implemented an identical feature to permit users to feature pronouns to their profiles.
